Put Your Muscles to Work in a Sliding Seat Row Boat
Sea Eagle, a well-known manufacturer of inflatable boats, has come up with an
innovative design in a sliding seat row boat. The small catamaran type
boat is actually 5 boats in one and can be used for paddling, rowing, motoring,
sailing or fishing.
The PaddleSki 395ps inflatable small row boat features a frame that can be
installed quickly to switch from paddling to rowing. The row kit comes with
extension handles for the paddles to convert the paddles into two oars. With the
sliding seat attached to the frame, the PaddleSki 395ps will give you a great
workout that utilizes several muscles groups in a smooth gliding motion.
The PaddleSki 395ps inflatable boat
with its sliding seat is shaped like a catamaran with a kayak shaped bow. Since
only the pontoons touch the water, paddling or rowing for hours on end is almost
effortless. With a length of almost 13 this boat has ample room for one or two
adults, yet its small enough to fit into a bag when deflated.

For longer camping trips Sea Eagle recommends the PaddleSki 435ps model. With a
length of 14 there is plenty of interior space to pack gear for an extended
wilderness excursion. This small inflatable boat is suitable for 2 adults or 650
lbs. It converts easily and can be paddled, rowed, sailed or used with a small
electric outboard motor (with optional side-mount bracket). The rowing
frame/sliding seat is an option for this boat as well.
Both PaddleSki models convert easily from a sliding seat inflatable boat to a
sail boat with the optional sail rig kit. A 45 sq.ft nylon sail will move the
435ps model at speeds up to 8 knots in a 10 15 knot breeze. The small kit
weighs only 23 lbs and could be taken along on an extended trip just in case you
tire of rowing and the wind makes for favorable sailing conditions. Sea Eagle inflatable boats and kayaks are
NMMA certified and come with a 3 year warranty.
